I'm back and I have got some good and bad news for you. What would you like first? The good or the bad? The good... Okay, well I have many years left with you at Enrich, but the bad news is that this is my second last blog post for this year! This is what we did today, so make the most of it!!!
First we did the before school picks and they were a mental edge game with a friend. The game I played with Jackson was Abalone. After that we played a Wilson game which was human naughts and crosses.
After that, we did our must dos and picks. I did a must do with Alana. We did an experiment to test gravity and inertia. Inertia is a constant state - either still or moving, and it will change when another force is applied to it. We used an egg and placed it sideways on top of a toilet roll. Underneath the toilet roll was a plastic boards and then right under that was a glass of water. You had to flick the plastic card. The egg should land right into the water, but the first time I did it, I smashed the egg. The second time I did it, it went into the glass. This showed that the egg sat in a certain position, and then when a force was applied, it dropped in the same direction - it didn't move in another direction.
It was funny because Nathan dropped his one in the glass, (well tried to), but this is what really happened.
Then we had lunch so I did this blog post after I'd eaten lunch. Now we are going to carry on with Must Dos and Picks.
