Let me explain. Your digital footprint is where you leave a mark on the internet.
Say, for example, I go on facebook (not that I do) I would leave a mark. If you put something out on facebook, it is there forever. In the olden days, if you put something out to the world and then like two days later you thought that you shouldn't have done that, you could go and edit it but you were able to look at the post before you edited it!
